Adidas Glenburn On Tour — Brighton & Hove — Part 1
The adidas Skateboarding bus rolled into Hove Lagoon this summer, and the south coast got a proper show. The Brighton stop of the Glenburn UK tour brought a team demo and an open skate jam to the seafront, with Flatspot hosting the day.
The tour was built around the Glenburn, adidas' football-terrace-inspired skate shoe, and the away-day theme ran right through it: a matchday-style bus, a travelling crew of heavy hitters, and a stop in each city to leave a mark.
The team kicked things off with a demo, running the Lagoon park in front of a packed crowd of locals. Once the pros had warmed it up, the gates opened for an open jam and the whole park got involved.
Shawn Curry held the mic all day, calling tricks, hyping slams and keeping the energy up.
